Approach

The studio sits on the second floor of Vantage Point on New England Road, a couple of minutes from Brighton station, and it gets good light most of the day. Shoots happen there or on location, whichever suits the picture you need.

Sessions are light-hearted and unhurried rather than formal. We talk, we try things, and we look at the images together on the screen as we go, so you leave knowing what you have instead of waiting a week to find out. Most people arrive nervous about being photographed. That is normal, and it is most of the job.

Work covers actors and Spotlight headshots, young performers, singers and musicians, model and performer portfolios, writers and creatives, business profiles, and editorial and PR commissions across Brighton, Sussex, London and further afield.

Commissioned and published work has appeared in The Guardian, The Independent, Elle, Fabulous Magazine, English Heritage.
